St. Peter’s school hosts an annual kindergarten roundup in January for children and their parents. If you are interested in enrolling at St. Peter's School and can not attend the roundup, please call 763-972-2528 to request an information packet, or click on Contact Us and mail us the request.
Any child who will be 5 years old by September 1 are invited to attend. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with dinner being served in the school’s cafeteria. Afterwards, the students are invited to participate in fun activities designed to introduce future students to the school. There is a brief informational meeting for parents about the kindergarten program and the upcoming school year and a tour of the school.
St. Peter’s offers an all day, every day program. Daily religion lessons are part of a full academic curriculum. The school calendar is the same as the public school and bus transportation is provided for those families living within the district boundaries.
“Attending roundup at St. Peter’s is the best way to learn about the kindergarten program,” said Bev Ludwig, parent of a kindergartner at St. Peter’s. “After meeting and talking with the staff and other parents, it is easy to see the strong sense of community that exists within the school. There is also a video presentation that is very helpful in showing what happens during a typical day of kindergarten and just how nurturing the environment is."
St. Peter’s kindergarten roundup is part of the school’s week-long Catholic Schools Celebration held in late January. For more information about kindergarten roundup and other events, call the school at 763-972-2528.
